CISA Multipoint Lock Systems

Updated: Mar 2, 2022

The multipoint locking system is a system design to allow a door to be held in position using deadbolts and or rods. Ideally the rods are used top and bottom of the door. The deadbolts are located in the face of the door.

There are many types of multipoint lock systems available. At Architectural Design Hardware we supply the Italian CISA multipoint locking system. The whole system is operated by the key to lock and throw bolts, and unlock and retract bolts.

CISA – an Allegion Company – is the leading brand in Europe and South Africa, in the Lock Security and Access Control System sectors. With six manufacturing plants, and a worldwide distribution network in over 70 countries, CISA has a pre-eminent role in the international market.

Almost all of the 30 000 products available in the CISA Catalogue are manufactured, tested and certified according to the European Norms – a stringent set of prescribed Standards that are accepted in over 32 countries in Europe.

Latch Deadbolt Multipoint Lock System

For the latch and deadbolt option, any lever handle on rose or plate furniture is ideally suited to this system. For plate furniture the centers are 85mm to suit the mortice lock. Generally standard in Australia. You can view suitable door handles on our website here. You will find most door handle manufacturers offer long plate furniture. Please consult our team for more information on appropriate door hardware.

An alternative yet unique door handle on plate is the (IN)finito lever by DnD. The (IN)finito uses a long narrow plate from handle height to bottom of door. Very minimalistic and suitable for this multipoint application. You can view the (IN)finito here on our website.
