THE DORMAKABA COASTAL RANGE
Solid, hygienic and corrosion resistant
The entire dormakaba range is manufactured from grade 316 solid stainless steel. A characteristic feature of Stainless Steel door furniture is the naturally gleaming finish that provides superior wear resistance unlike many plated finishes. Further grade 316 stainless steel is the ideal choice for coastal conditions and applications where hygiene is of the upmost importance.
It is constructed of hygienic and corrosion resistant solid 316 grade stainless steel and is suited for use in coastal or harsh conditions as well as to aesthetically please in an interior environment.
Levers are fitted onto a 53mm round rose mounting plate which has a clean 10mm projection of the door face.
The Coastal 4000 series is designed to compliment the dormakaba Australian mortice lock and tubular latch range, but equally compatible with similar Australian locks and latches.
The option for a square rose finish is also available.
Round rose: 53mm diameter rose, 10mm thick with 41mm fixing centres.
Square rose: 57mm x 57mm, 10mm thick with 41mm fixing centres.
Fire Rating
The Coastal 4000 series furniture is fire rated and comply with AS1905.1.
Flexible combinability
The system consists of three components offering flexible combinability: lever handle, rose/backplate and square spindle. The Premium range has been compiled to meet virtually every design requirement – from modern to classic. The wide choice of models offers proof positive of the high quality inherent in the dormakaba brand.
Lever on round rose
Stylish and yet a timeless round rose design with beveled edges suitable for all types of commercial and residential applications. Fully concealed thru the door fixings by means of a screw on outer rose add to the aesthetic appeal. Complete with an extensive range of matching escutcheons, turn snibs and privacy snibs.
Lever on square rose
Modern square rose design with beveled edges suitable for all types of commercial and residential applications where clean square lines are desired. Fully concealed thru the door fixings by means of a grub screw held outer rose add to the aesthetic appeal. Complete with an extensive range of matching square escutcheons, turn snibs and privacy snibs.
Functions
Passage/standard- sold as a pair including spindle and fixing screws less latch.
Privacy - sold as a pair including spindle, fixing screws and a 60mm backset privacy latch.
Half Set - sold as the external lever and rose including fixing screws, spindle and backing plate.
Fixed Lever - half set levers can be fixed with the use of a SP8000-014 fixed spindle backing plate which can be purchased as an optional accessory.
